Photography

I began to take an interest in Photography at about 15 years of age. Knowing that art was enjoyable, but lacking the ability to draw, I looked toward other art forms to be my creative outlet.

After looking through the college prospectus for my A-Levels, photography stood out to me.

I bought my first 35mm SLR after 1 year of studying photography for about 50 quid on eBay.

I then decided that studying photography further was what I wanted to do with the next 3 years of my life, I applied late to university and was accepted.

(For those that are familiar with my stories, I apologise. This is one of those stories.)

While becoming more familiar with the practise of photography, I still lived at home in a town placed on the north east coast, a beautiful part of the world and began to incorporate this into my work during the final year of study, becoming my main inspiration and obsession.

Over the past 2 years or so, I have visited more beaches and coastal areas than the previous 19 years of my existence.

I wish to share some of my favourites.

There's something very wonderful about the beach and the sea.

I love it.
